For years, iGaming operator, PressEnter, has been advertising their "Nitro Casino" brand and its free-to-play online casino games through television campaigns across Canada. While the ads pointed to their free-play Nitro Casino branded web domain, PressEnter of course enjoyed the brand recognition that would accrue to their main, real-money dot-com domain. On that real-money NitroCasino.com site, which is based in Malta and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority, both English and French language versions for "Canada" are available.
In acquiring so many players in Ontario through these marketing campaigns, PressEnter clearly wanted to keep them playing on their within their online gaming properties into the future, which is why they moved to gain their license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
This means that PressEnter will soon be able to officially offer NitroCasino as one of the Ontario Interac online casinos, on the iGaming Ontario platform. Players that are located in Canada, but outside Ontario, will be able to continue playing at the NitroCasino-dot-com site based in Malta.
As a casino-only brand, Nitro Casino has never offered an online sportsbook as part of their suite of gaming products. Expect this to carry over into Canada's most populous province. Thus, interested players will not be able to place sports wagers there, nor will they be abe to find this brand on any of the reviews of the top legal Ontario betting sites. There won't be any such relevant service to review.
